Recommended discount

Open Dermaself → Discount. The screen is called Recommended discount: it takes a percentage off the products the Skin Test recommended, and only those.

Shoppers do not enter any code: the discount is added as soon as a recommended product is in the cart, and it goes away with the last one.

Steps

1. Open Discount.
2. Under Status, tick Apply the discount to recommended products.
3. Label — what the shopper sees on the discount line in the cart and at checkout (for example “Skin test discount”). It is not a code to type.
4. Percentage — up to 90%, half points allowed (for example 12.5). Above 90% the value is treated as a typo and ignored.
5. Click Save discount.

The discount only turns on when there is both a label and a percentage above zero.

What happens in the cart

• The discount is computed only on the lines added from the Skin Test recommendations. The rest of the cart stays at full price.
• A product added to the cart by hand, outside the Skin Test, is not discounted.
• It shows as a separate discount line in the cart and at checkout, with your label.

To turn it off, untick Apply the discount to recommended products and save.
