Open Skin Test Setup. This is the questionnaire shoppers answer before the selfie. Changes go live after Save setup: you do not need to publish again or touch the theme.

What each plan can do

  • Free — the shop uses the default quiz. You can still change the progress indicator, the contact step and the step backgrounds.
  • Start and Pro — the full Quiz Builder: add, remove, reorder and edit questions and answers, and set up the results page.

On Free, the page shows a banner with a link to the plans. See Plans and usage.

What is on the page

On the left:

  1. Skin Test questions — the question list. Each row shows type and title, with Edit and Delete.
  2. Add Question — adds a question; drag to reorder (Start and Pro).
  3. Contact step — marketing privacy URL and background.
  4. Skin Test settings — progress indicator, results page, recommendations, alternative products per step, contact step.

On the right: Skin Test Preview. Use Preview / Exit preview in the title bar to try the flow.

Edit a question (Start and Pro)

  1. Click Edit on a question.
  2. Set the question text, type and answer options. You can also set a background image or color for the step.
  3. Save in the window, then Save setup on the page.

Some questions are essential for the flow and cannot be deleted: you can rewrite their text.

Question languages

Write each question once. When you click Save setup, the app fills in the missing English and Italian copy with an automatic translation. Translations that already exist are kept.

To review or correct the copy for a language, go to Theme & Branding → Translations.

Contact step

  1. In Skin Test settings, turn on Enable contact step (Email + Name + mandatory marketing consent).
  2. Click Edit on Contact step.
  3. Paste the marketing privacy URL (your store policy).
  4. Optional: background color or image.
  5. Save, then Save setup.

Leads reach Klaviyo or Mailchimp only with this step on and the shopper’s consent. The Skin Test runs either way.

Results page (Start and Pro)

In Skin Test settings:

  • Enable result page — the screen after the analysis.
  • Show recommendations — routine and products from your mapped catalog.
  • Alternative products per step — how many alternatives to show for each step. The main product is always shown.
